Niklas Bäckström is moving to Columbus.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have chosen Niklas Bäckström as his new goalkeeper coach.
Bäckström, 45, has been operating since 2019 Jarmo Kekäläinen in the coaching positions of the Blue Jackets organization he leads in Europe.
During his career, Bäckström played ten seasons and 413 regular season games in the NHL. His clubs were the Minnesota Wild and the Calgary Flames.
In the national team, Bäckström has won five medals: Olympic silver and bronze, and World Championship silver and two bronze.
