Jari Vlak says he had a wonderful Monday evening. With FC Emmen he won more than (with 4-1) from his old team FC Volendam and casually took the third period title.
He enjoyed a swirling De Oude Meerdijk, but the native Volendammer also received a standing ovation from the 500 supporters who had traveled from the eel village: “I really enjoyed that too.”
Eye-catching pass
Flat looked back on his own performance Monday night with pleasure. “Old-fashioned again. Great”, responded the defensive midfielder.
The highlight for himself came just before half-time. That was the beautiful pass to Rui Mendes, who was eventually able to add an assist with his cross. Reda Kharchouch pushed in the 4-0.
