As the first piece, Sillanpää interpreted Tango Desiree -to the kipalen.

– Exactly 27 years ago, on July 8th, these Austrian tango rhythms were cavorting at that sports hall and the crown was put on their head, Sillanpää recalled his tango royalty in his first speech.

Recovery from surgery

At the beginning of June, Sillanpää revealed on his social media channels that he had undergone hip surgery. He said that he got a new hip joint in the operation. Sillanpää arrived at his gig on foot without any aids.

– The orthopedist said soo soo soo, now let’s be careful this summer. But I have to say, I was surprised that it (the hip) got better so quickly, Sillanpää opened to the public.
