Once created a career under the stage name Cheek Jare Tiihonen tells Mehiläinen’s Pääasia podcast about his current affairs, Psychotherapist To Thea Strandholm. Tiihonen has rarely appeared in public in recent years.

He says in the podcast that he is still involved in the music business through his own record company, as the “backbone” of a few artists. In addition to that, he has implemented completely new types of work projects in recent years.

– I had one slightly more unpleasant project that lasted two years. I accidentally put myself in a construction project where I built three apartments. It was a bit more stressful (the project), but it’s over now, all is well. It’s behind us, and maybe we learned something from that too, Tiihonen says in the podcast.

Tiihonen says that he travels a lot. He says that traveling is an important spiritual outlet for him, and he likes being in the sun very much.

In the interview, Tiihonen also returns to his childhood and youth. He openly talks about the life lessons he received from his father, among other things. According to Tiihonen, not all of these doctrines are in use anymore.

– I’ve questioned the fact that my father always thought it was necessary to have so much fun with different women, and I don’t know if that’s the kind of advice I would take forward myself anymore. It was such a measure of masculinity for the father. Then he always called to see if there was anything. They were really impressed by my father’s teachings and rules, Tiihonen says in the podcast.

Father’s advice also included, among other things, teachings related to the importance of brothers, which Tiihonen still holds in high esteem.
