Today, when it’s Jannes’ ‘real’ birthday, some acquaintances come over. “And then life goes on at fifty,” laughs the singer, who has been working in this role for 24 years.
So next year there will be something to celebrate again, when the artist will be active in the profession for 25 years. A born artist. “It has spread through the Netherlands like an oil slick. I am so happy and grateful for what I get, but I also like to give back, so I plan to celebrate. Maybe with a concert, maybe with a theater tour.”
First the new album that will be released soon. It promises to be something. “The new single, Monicais doing well,” Jannes beams.
