Janke Dekker lies that she is bursting with her husband Tom Egbers’ former mistress, says a ‘well-informed NOS insider’ against the Story. “In her statement there are twenty untruths.”
Tom Egbers is under fire because of a sensational investigation by de Volkskrant. In a long article the newspaper revealed, among other things, that he started an affair at NOS Sport with a 26-year-younger trainee and started bullying and intimidating her when it broke down. The editors-in-chief knew about it, but kept his hand over his head.
Stalk behavior
His wife Janke Dekker, who has also been discredited, is under fire because, despite her knowledge of Tom’s misconduct, she simply stayed on as the forewoman of the Mores hotline, and is now trying to turn the story completely. According to her, it is precisely the case that the intern continued to harass her husband.

Only Tom kept busy, according to the source. “He intimidated her for years, she didn’t even want to have contact with him anymore.”
Save face
Then why is Janke spreading this story? “Janke is desperate, trying to save face. Tom’s former mistress has not spoken to de Volkskrant. She is not looking forward to this at all.”
She did, however, cooperate behind the scenes in an investigation. “She hopes young women never have to go through this again, it has done her a lot of damage. What she went through as a victim is bizarre.”

According to the source, Tom’s former mistress has received a huge number of messages and statements of support from NOS employees. If so, then of course that only makes her story more believable.
