Actor Jane Fonda, 84, has shared his cancer diagnosis on social media. Fonda says in an Instagram update that she is suffering from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, i.e. lymph node cancer.
– My dear friends, I have to share something personal. I have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and have started chemotherapy, says Fonda.
Fonda is hopeful despite the sad diagnosis.
– This is a very treatable cancer. 80 percent of people make it, so I feel really lucky. I am also lucky to have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatments. I understand, and it’s painful that I’m privileged in this.
