Jamie xx has released a new single. “KILL DEM” was created as a tribute to the Notting Hill Carnival. Jamie xx is said to have been inspired by the “energy of the parties and sound systems he experienced as a teenager that would shape him forever”. In August, Jamie xx himself DJed there.

Jamie xx already released the track “LET’S DO IT AGAIN” in spring. The producer also remixed a song from his The xx band member Oliver Sim’s solo debut, “GMT.” The remix was his first in five years.
The xx’s still current album is called I SEE YOU and was released in 2017. Jamie xx released his solo debut IN COLOR in 2015 and singer Romy Madley Croft released her debut single “Lifetime” in September 2020. Bassist Oliver Sim’s debut HIDEOUS BASTARD was produced by Jamie xx and was released in September this year.
