In 2022, Britney Spears’ little sister published her memoir Things I Should Have Said: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out. In these, Jamie Lynn expressed her dissatisfaction and problems with Britney Spears. A private source told the Mirror: “Jamie Lynn has a decades-long history and bad blood with Britney to deal with and has made her feelings pretty clear in her own book. It will be interesting to hear her talk about her life, her family and the controversial guardianship – and find out whether or not the sisters really get along.”
