Jamie Foxx rushed to hospital | show

Jamie Foxx has been rushed to hospital due to ‘a medical emergency’. American media, including entertainment site TMZ, report this. Corinne Fox, the daughter of the 55-year-old actor, announced on Thursday via a statement that her father is now doing better.

Corinne does not say what exactly caused her father, but confirms that he is on the mend and that he has received “great care”. She also thanks her father’s fans for the messages of support he has received. “We know how loved he is and we appreciate your kind messages. We would like privacy now that he is recovering.”

TMZ writes that Jamie’s “medical emergency” was so serious that his family members came to the hospital. A source said he is communicating with them again. “So that’s good news.”

It is not yet known when Foxx will be allowed to leave the hospital. It is also unclear when he will return to the film set Back In Action, his new movie with Cameron Diaz. However, the actor was still spotted on the set on Monday. He was then taken to hospital on Tuesday morning.
