James Blake’s new album PLAYING ROBOTS INTO HEAVEN will be released on September 8th. The British musician describes his sixth studio album in a press release as “dance music for culture and community”. The dance tracks are characterized by electronic tones.

With the already released singles “Loading” and “Big Hammer” Blake already provided a foretaste of the record. The latter song was accompanied by a music video directed by Oscar Hudson. The English duo The Ragga Twins are also represented on the single.

The singer and songwriter released his previous record FRIENDS THAT BREAK YOUR HEART in 2021. With his “Playing Robots Into Heaven Tour” James Blake is also coming to Germany for a concert in September. On September 24 he will perform at the Berlin Velodrom before continuing to tour Europe and North America.
