Jambon demands a “free Flanders” during the Flemish holiday speech: “Now direct the policy towards the regions, that cannot wait until 2024"

On the eve of the Flemish national holiday, Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon spoke about the strength of Flanders and emphasized the need to transfer as many powers as possible to the regions. Last year the vast majority of the speech was still about corona and its consequences, but now Jambon notices resilience: “The Flemish are a fantastic people, but we have the detestable tendency to have our own wings clipped”.
