Flemish Prime Minister Jan Jambon has asked the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, in a letter not to carry out the execution of Swedish-Iranian VUB guest professor Ahmadreza Djalali and to grant him a pardon. He said this on Friday in the Flemish Parliament where he received questions in the Foreign Policy Committee from Kristof Slagmulder (Vlaams Belang) and Orry Van de Wauwer (CD&V).
