Jambon about Zorabots: “Very important that people realize what is happening here”
Fabrice Goffin, Zorabots: “In recent months we have signed two very important contracts for our company. One with Saudi Arabia, with a company that is active in the well-known futuristic city of Neom. And with a Canadian company that takes care of a lot of things for the Quebec police.”
In 2013, the company introduced robots in residential care centers, and they are now doing much more. For example, there is an accessible software platform that connects robotics, devices connected to the internet and the virtual world. Tommy Deblieck, Zorabots: “I will give the example of when you enter our company. You enter, there is a motion detector that detects you are there. A message will be sent to the avatar welcoming you.”
120,000 licenses
In Saudi Arabia they have sold 100,000 licenses, worth 100 million euros. In Canada, this concerns 20,000 licenses worth seven million. Jan Jambon, Flemish Prime Minister: “It is very important that people realize what is happening here. How we lead the pack when it comes to technology and innovation. Because then people can realize that there is still a lot of future in Flanders.”
