Another Corona case at FC Bayern. Jamal Musiala has tested positive for the virus. And another failure is imminent: goalkeeper Sven Ulreich had to stop training.
Corona at FC Bayern – and no end: National player Jamal Musiala has tested positive for the virus. The 18-year-old is doing “well, he is in domestic isolation,” said the German record champions on Wednesday.
downtime uncertain
It is unclear how long Musiala will not be available to Munich. Bayern play at VfL Bochum on Saturday (3.30 p.m., in the live ticker on t-online).
Musiala is not the first Corona case in Munich. At the beginning of the year, nine (!) Bayern stars dropped out because of a positive test – and there could be more dropouts. As the “Bild” reports, the Munich team is also threatened with the loss of goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
Goalkeeper distress at Bayern?
Ulreich’s corona test is said to have shown an “increased value”, so that he also had to stop training. Another test should finally clarify whether the new substitute is really positive.
Since first-choice goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will be out for a good month due to his meniscus surgery, 22-year-old Christian Früchtl could celebrate his professional debut.
