De Televizier is busy putting together a long list of 25 TV programs from which the voting public will soon be able to choose three nominees for the Gouden Televizier-Ring. Every quarter, the voting public adds five programs to the list and finally, the organization itself adds five more programs.
Koen is lyrical
We are now in the fourth and final quarter for the presentation of the Televizier prizes and programs that have been broadcast in recent months currently have a chance to end up on that 25-part long list. You can now vote for 92 (!) programs, of which five will eventually make the longlist.
One of those 92 programs is the real-life soap Jaimie in the Vaes Lane. Apparently Jaimie Vaes’ best friend Koen Pieter van Dijk, who also has a role in the series, does not know exactly how that election works, because he now thinks that they have already won.
‘See you at the gala!’
Koen addresses his followers in a video message. “Hello friends. My girlfriend just received some amazing news: Jaimie has been nominated for the Gouden Televizier-Ring with Jaimie in the Vaes Lane.”
Why does Jaimie have to win that TV ring? “Yeah guys, this woman just has to win. If anyone deserves it, it’s Jaim. I can get really emotional about it. Dear darling, you are so blessed and for all my friends: here’s the link, vote! And hopefully see you at the Golden Televizier gala. Hi!”
overestimation
It is of course obvious what is going on here: we see here the umpteenth Dutch celebrity who grossly overestimates himself. Danny de Munk, who is almost in the newspaper these days with a black bar in front of his eyes, also thinks he will win that television prize. “All vote!”
The Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala, without Jaimie and Danny, will be broadcast on NPO 1 in October.
