Jaimie Vaes states in her statement to the police that she did not sit with her head between Lil Kleine’s car door at all, Juice Channel reports. And that, according to De Telegraaf, is harmful.
It shocked the whole of the Netherlands at the beginning of the year: the dark video that allegedly showed Lil Kleine clamping his then girlfriend Jaimie Vaes with her head between his car door. This is still presented as fact by almost all media, but is that actually the case?
Not with head
Jaimie herself has told the police not to, reports juice channel Juice Channel. She says she has her official statement and quotes the following from it: “Well, then the video happened, eh, on which he, yes, touched my head or my hair, in any case I am not lying in between with my head.”
She continues: “I also told your colleague that in the statement. That’s what the media made of it. Eh, I think it was leg, a piece of arm. I am in any case between them and that is why the door could not be closed.”
“Why is she silent?”
It’s not Jaimie’s choice not to correct this prevailing image, says Juice Channel. “According to Jaimie, the media has made it so that she had her head between the car door. If she’s done with all the cowboy stories, so to speak, why hasn’t she ever said this isn’t true?”
Jaimie posted a statement on Instagram last night in which she complains about show media: “It is such a shame that in these kind of annoying situations there are still people who twist things and stir things up for their own profit. Let the following be clear now before the cowboy stories get even more extreme.
‘Be honest!’
Jaimie is now getting that right back in her face. The juice channel: “She has given several interviews on this subject, even covering it in her own series. But this has never been rectified by herself. Let it be made clear that we think this should never have happened, but you have to be honest.”
The guys from the podcast Strictly Private discuss these Juice Channel stories in their latest episode. Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden: “We thought we saw that Jaimie was lying with her head between the car door.”
Private boss Evert Santegoeds: “There you go again, right?”
Jordi: “Thought, huh?”
‘She harms Lil Kleine’
Jordi resents it. “The image in the media is still that the head was involved. Jaimie has never said in interviews, “No, I wasn’t in the middle of it at all.” With that she also damages a little bit, if it’s all true, the image of Lil Kleine? By maintaining that image.”
Evert: “In doing so, she does what she accuses others of in her statement.”
