The Athletics Federation of India announced on Thursday that Hungary canceled the javelin thrower’s visa for an unknown reason. If Jena didn’t have a visa, she wouldn’t have been able to participate in the World Cup.
However, a meeting was arranged for Jena with the Hungarian Foreign Ministry the next day. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs granted the visa to Jena on Friday morning.

This season, Jena has thrown a throw of 84.38 meters, which entitles her to 11th in the world rankings this season. The men’s javelin qualifying competition will be held on Friday, August 25, and the final on Sunday, August 27.
