“Return strengthened” to SSV Jahn
SSV Jahn Regensburg has loaned striker André Becker to the Würzburg Kickers until the end of the season. The 25-year-old, who is tied to the second division team until 2023, has only made two brief appearances for the Jahn pros this season. The German-Brazilian striker came to Regensburg from regional list FC-Astoria Walldorf in the summer of 2020, but remained goalless in a total of 34 games.
“We spoke openly with André over the Christmas period about his current situation and also about his future. Together we came to the conclusion that a loan makes sense for both sides at this point in time. We wish André all the best in the coming months and look forward to his return in the summer,” said sporting director Roger Stilz.
Becker added: “Now I’m deliberately taking the step to Würzburg. I want to get more playing time with Kickers and help the club with my qualities to achieve their goals this season. Then I would like to return to Regensburg in the summer strengthened and start a new attempt at SSV Jahn.”
