At the end of the season, a total of 23 players were said goodbye to the internal circle, as Jahn announced on Wednesday.

According to the current status, as the club emphasized, Den Jahn will leave Benedikt Gimber, Andreas Albers, Jan Elvedi (change to 1. FC Kaiserslautern confirmed), Kaan Caliskaner, Charalampos Makridis, Scott Kennedy, Thorsten Kirschbaum, Steve Breitkreuz, Leon Guwara, Aygun Yildirim, Prince Osei Owusu, Minos Gouras, Dejan Stojanovic and Maximilian Thalhammer. In addition, the loan contracts of Sarpreet Singh, Lasse Günther, Blendi Idrizi, Dario Vizinger, Joshua Mees, Nicklas Shipnoski, Jonas Urbig and Oscar Schönfelder are ending. Sebastian Nachreiner had already announced the end of his career after 13 years at SSV before the end of the season.
