Jada Borsato, the daughter of Marco Borsato, is under heavy fire because of a ridiculous statement in Shownieuws. She is completely torn down. “You have to shut up!”
A major slip: Jada Borsato, the daughter of Marco Borsato who played in GTST for a while, has made extremely inappropriate statements in front of the Shownieuws camera about the sexual offenses involving her father. He is being prosecuted for fornication with an underage girl and that means that the Public Prosecution Service thinks it has enough evidence for this.
Jada on camera
What does Jada think? Yesterday morning she was present at the premiere of a Sinterklaas film and was part of a camera crew Show news to speak. Not very surprising, because the show section does not report objectively on the Borsato case at all. Anouk Smulders in particular has gone too far by even smearing his young victim.
Evert Santegoeds, who is also in the Borsato camp, thinks it’s great that Jada simply appears in front of the camera. “That is not self-evident. You can also think: there is press there and I won’t go there anytime soon, but Jada thought: I will see it, and if they ask me about it, I will say this.”
‘We’re going to rock it!’
How does Jada view the matter? She says: “Well, look, of course it’s difficult, but we’re just going to do this together. We all stand behind my dad and we’re just going to rock this.”
We’re going to rock this?! What?! She continues: “Of course it is tough, but we knew that in advance that it would be tough and that it would be a tough time. Of course it is difficult for everyone anyway, but we remain positive and we are just going to do this. I don’t want to say more about it.”
Silence is silver
Jada receives extreme criticism for this statement. “Read the room“, writes the influential No style. “Jada Borsato should have just kept quiet when asked about her father’s unwanted fidgeting and hidden behind a neutral ‘no comment’.”
“We’re going to rock this” is seriously inappropriate, the opinion site believes. “As if it were a concert in the Ziggo Dome. As if Marco B. has to deal with disappointing sales results of his latest album instead of accusations of fornication. (…) Please pay attention Jada, we will explain it one more time: silence is silver and not touching children is gold.”
‘Shut up!’
GeenStijl believes that Jada is acting very inappropriately. “Now is the time to shut up and wait for a judge to rule instead of standing on a red carpet and voicing your unqualified support for a child molestation suspect.”
Yvonne Coldeweijer also thinks that Jada really goes way too far with these statements. “’We’re going to rock this’… As if you were talking about the Avondvierdaagse instead of a sex case about child abuse.”
‘Pretty good’
Also on X people go completely crazy. “Dear Jada. Wouldn’t you like to compare justifying these disgustingly filthy obscenities with something tough like rock music?” says one RoodBaard, for example.
The Borsato-loving Evert Santegoeds thinks it is a nice reaction from Jada. “Yes, well, if you, as a 20-year-old girl, stand on your own ground, then I think that’s great.”
