Jacques van den Broek (1960) is the new chairman of the Dutch Entrepreneurship Committee. He will leave this month as chairman of the board of Randstad and will succeed Harold Goddijn (CEO TomTom) at the Committee.

The Dutch Entrepreneurship Committee was established to stimulate entrepreneurship and strengthen the growth potential of small and medium-sized enterprises. Minister Micky Adriaansens (EZK) has extended the Committee’s term by four years. Her Majesty Queen Máxima will also remain an active member, as will Barbara Baarsma, Meiny Prins and Diederik Laman Trip.

Jacques van den Broek has been CEO and chairman of the board of Randstad since 2014. He is also the driving force behind NL2025 and mentor of NLgrown.

Every autumn, the Committee presents the trend analysis Annual Report on the State of SMEs. In recent years, the Committee has issued advice to the cabinet on the recovery and growth of SMEs. The proposals are aimed at improving access to finance, access to talent and strengthening entrepreneurship.
