Bastien Daguzen, Chief Executive Officer at Jacquemus, is stepping down from the French luxury brand’s leadership position with immediate effect.
A spokesman for the brand confirmed the departure to the trade magazine Business of Fashion. The news comes about two weeks after it was announced that Daguzan would also take on the role of president at the label, while founder Simon Jacquemus would continue to serve as creative director and shareholder.
Daguzan joined Jacquemus as CEO in March 2022 after serving as general manager at French brand Rabanne for five years. Previously, he held senior positions at the Lemaire and Krisvanasche brands, where he initially worked as sales manager and later as sales and development director.
The expansion of his role at Jacquemus comes at a time when the brand is forecasting double-digit growth in 2023 and is preparing its next show, “Les Sculptures,” which will take place on January 29.
