Jacobs wins the 100 meters gold at the European Athletics Championships

The blue triumphs in the final and becomes the fourth man in history to win the European 100 gold after the Olympic one

Extraordinary Marcell Jacobs. In Munich the Olympian of the 100 of Tokyo is repeated in the final of the Europeans, becoming the third man in history capable of the European 100 gold after the Olympic one after Armin Hary (Stockholm 1958 and Rome 1960), Valeriy Borzov (Munich 1972-Rome 1974) and Linford Christie (Barcelona 1992-Helsinki 1994).

Jacobs won with a time of 9 “95, beating the British Hughes (9” 99) and Azu (10 “13”).
