Jacky Lafon takes on the role of aunt Rita at ’30 years Family Party’ again | BV

The ’30 Years of Family Celebration’ continues to string together surprises. After musical guests Willy Sommers and CAMILLE, a third remarkable name is added to the list: Jacky Lafon, who for years played Rita Van den Bossche, the black sheep of the family, who struggled with an alcohol addiction. The actress said goodbye to the soap in 2015 because her character chose a new life on a cruise ship. She now happily interrupts that cruise for a guest appearance on Saturday 17 September in the Lotto Arena.

“The ’30 Years of Family Celebration’ will be a very big, cozy family celebration and Rita simply has to be there”, says Lafon. “She likes to get off her ship for such an occasion. I’m really looking forward to making it a huge party, full of nostalgia, together with the cast and the fans. I’m already drinking a glass at 30 years of ‘Family’ and who knows, Rita will do the same in the Lotto Arena (laughs).”
