The facts date from three months ago when Jacky was found in his wife’s house with a knife. The couple had been together for 22 years but had only been married for six months. On the day of the facts, Jacky G. had called the emergency services herself. He would have killed his wife with a stab to the heart. In addition, he had injured himself and was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. After the hospital, he was immediately locked up in prison on suspicion of murder.
Local residents thought that Myriam and Jacky might have decided to take their own lives together, but that was not true. The investigators deduce from Jacky’s statements that the man committed the murder because he suspected her of adultery. According to Jacky, his wife would have started a relationship with another man shortly after their marriage.
