Jack Wolfskin takes over Polish sales partner

Jack Wolfskin is taking over its sales partner FAM Sp.K., with whom the outdoor specialist has been working for the Polish market for 24 years.

The takeover will create the newly founded company Jack Wolfskin Poland Sp. z oo, which is based in Gdynia near Gdansk, the company announced on Monday. This should strengthen the presence on the Polish market. According to Jack Wolfskin, the Polish location serves as a “strategic hub for Eastern Europe”.

“We are pursuing a consistent globalization strategy, with which we are also strengthening our business in markets that border our core region in the DACH region,” said Jack Wolfskin CEO Richard Collier. “Our team in Poland has done an excellent job over the years, creating a strong blueprint for success with a multi-channel sales program and advanced marketing and support activities.”

FAM Sp.K. was founded in 1995 by Marcin Gabryołek and has been a Jack Wolfskin sales partner since 1998. Ten independent Jack Wolfskin stores are currently operated under Gabryołek, as well as wholesale partnerships and a digital business. The Polish subsidiary employs 80 people in the head office and in retail.

We will continue to increase brand awareness and desirability to further expand our market position in Poland and the wider region.”
