Jack Wolfskin brings its outdoor gear to the Iberian Peninsula. The Barcelona-based agency The Brand Lab will be responsible for sales in Spain, Portugal and Andorra, the German outdoor specialist announced on Tuesday.
In the future, a country manager and four representatives will set up wholesale and digital sales of the outdoor brand in the countries. Catalonia, Pais Vasco, Madrid and Andorra are the focus and Jack Wolfskin is currently looking for locations to open its own retail stores.
The sales partner The Brand Lab is a young and modern agency made up of real adventurers and already represents high-quality outdoor and bicycle brands in the region, according to the announcement. Now this is intended to increase consumer awareness of Jack Wolfskin in Spanish-speaking countries.
“Strategically, the Iberian Peninsula is a high priority region for Jack Wolfskin as the brand continues to expand on a global scale,” said Jack Wolfskin CEO Richard Collier. “Working with The Brands Lab – a team that lives the lifestyle we represent and understands the retail landscape – will help us achieve our go-to-market goals and gain a foothold in key markets.”
According to Idstein, the Iberian peninsula has priority due to the community of hikers, cyclists and holidaymakers who are enthusiastic about camping.
