Jack Wolfskin: China boss becomes CEO

The outdoor outfitter Jack Wolfskin, which belongs to the US sporting goods group Callaway Golf, has found a new CEO within its own ranks.

The previous CEO Richard Collier will leave the Idstein-based company at the end of the year, reports the trade magazine Textilwirtschaft. He took over this position in December 2020 as the successor to Melody Harris-Jensbach.

Collier’s successor will now be Matthew Jung, who is currently General Manager China and has lived in Asia since 1997. The American came to Jack Wolfskin in March last year after a personal break, according to his profile on the career network Linkedin. Before that, he held various positions for the US sportswear company Nike, most recently as general manager for the shoe brand Converse in Asia.

Jack Wolfskin has not yet responded to a request from FashionUnited.
