Outdoor outfitter Jack Wolfskin has appointed Aki Ben-Ezra to the post of Head of People and Culture. In this role, she has been leading “the Human Resources and Internal Service teams” since October 4 and is responsible for “creating an environment in which the culture of Jack Wolfskin becomes a unique competitive advantage,” said the US American sporting goods group Callaway Golf Company in a statement.
In addition, Ben-Ezra will “optimize employee-related activities to ensure that these aspects support both the work experience at Jack Wolfskin and the growth and profitability of the company”. In her new role, she reports directly to CEO Richard Collier.
Before joining Jack Wolfskin, Ben-Ezra was Vice President People at real estate start-up Gropyus. Prior to that, she spent eleven years at the sporting goods group Adidas, during which time she held various management positions in human resources.
In her new position, she was excited by the opportunity to “modernize and transform HR and positively influence corporate culture,” Ben-Ezra said in a statement. In addition, she was “convinced of the products and the brand”.
