“My father did his job as always,” says Jack about that Sunday afternoon. “That always went well, see you Sunday. Then the Bull gave him an optater and that became fatal to him.”
The dairy farmer felt that something was wrong. “We were coffee, and I know that my father is always finished with his job after fifteen minutes. But he just didn’t come back.”
“I had a bad feeling about it, so I went looking. Then I saw that he was outside the west in the cubicles. It was clear that he had a collision with the bull.”
Jack himself was also attacked by bull
Jack tried to save his father and called 112. A swarm of emergency services, including a trauma heli, came to the farmyard in Stompetoren. But Jack himself was also attacked in that hectic pace. “In the meantime, that bull also wanted to grasp me. Then I also had three beeches. Then you start roaring very hard, and then the rest came to help me.”
