Jaap (93) rode his Contessa scooter to Mallorca: ‘That freedom, they were the most beautiful holidays I can remember’

Jaap Vink talks about it as if it were yesterday. But it was in 1956 that he bought the scooter, which he still calls the purchase of a lifetime. Jaap worked as a sports masseur, bailiff and appeared in seventeen Dutch films. He was 24 years old when he saved up the money for a scooter.
