Host Jaajo Linnonmaa is leaving Aamulyps. Linnonmaa told about it in the program’s live broadcast on Wednesday morning.

– At the end of the year, our person will leave Aamulypsy, Linnonmaa said.

Linnonmaa started as the host of Aamulypsy in 2006. He took paternity leave at the turn of the year and returned to radio in the spring.

Linnonmaa said that the decision was made during paternity leave and that he wants to spend more time with his family in the future.

– I feel relieved, Linnonmaa continued.

Linnonmaa opened up the background of its termination decision on Instagram.

– I haven’t taken paternity leave before, but I wanted to make an exception for the bump. I was happy and glad that I was able to participate in my children’s lives in a completely different way, when I got to share weekday mornings with them, Linnonmaa writes.

– When the paternity leave was coming to an end, the children asked if I had to go back to the radio and if I could continue to be at home in the mornings. Dad makes a really good omelet, I hear.

Linnonmaa thanks its presenter colleagues Janni Huss and Tuukka Ritokoski.

– I also know that even if I leave here, the spirit of Aamulypsy will remain in the studio.

– A big thank you to my wife, who has made all of this possible.

Jaajo Linnonmaa and Anni Ihamäki have hosted Aamulypsy for several years together. See how well they know each other! Anna Jousilahti
