Jaajo Linnonmaa and Jaakko Parkkali made a big mistake – “He did the right thing when he got in touch”

Jaajo Linnonmaa and Jaakko Parkkal’s fireworks caused panic among animals in the Espoo area.

Radio host Jaajo Linnonmaa45, and a piper Jaakko Parkkalin27, Tuesday night’s act went too far.

On the evening of December 5, Parivaljakko published clips in their Instagram stories, in which they hinted that they were making a new video together. The clips in question also included a clip where they showed off a cardboard box with rockets in it.

According to the materials obtained by Iltalehti, Linnonmaa had published an Instagram post at around 9:20 p.m., in which he told about their intentions. The host deleted that publication during the evening, as well as his Instagram stories, which had clips from the evening’s events.

– A sneaky start to the new year. Jaakko Parkkali came to Korjaamo today and asked if I like rockets. Well, who doesn’t like it! We drove the car to one of Espoo’s wigs and lit up the sky. I did feel naughty, Linnonmaa’s publication read.

Parkkali has also quietly deleted their Instagram stories where they shot rockets. In one of his story sections, Parkkali had said that there would be a YouTube video about the situation in question on December 27.

The horses went wild

Discussions about the duo’s work soon spread to social media. According to the reports received by Iltalehti, many people heard the explosion of rockets in Kauklahti around 19:00. Many reported that their dogs and horses went wild from the rockets, which were not announced to the locals in advance.

Iltalehti caught up with one local person whose horse went wild from the rockets. The horse was so badly injured that its life was in danger.

– The horse had messed up and ran through the stall door so that the hinge could penetrate the skin on its leg. Fortunately, we survived with a wound that didn’t pierce the muscle completely, he says.

According to the person, they are not going to demand any kind of compensation from the two.

– However, they may have had permits and luckily we were able to treat that wound with our own staff as a first emergency, states the horse’s owner.

– We are not looking for the guilty, but we hope that every person considering buying rockets would take into account every small animal that simply cannot be told that it is okay, he adds.

According to the person, Bonnie “Nook”, a rescue dog living in the neighborhood, who usually has to be on strong medication every New Year, was also affected by the duo’s actions.

– Raukka is currently lying under the sheet and shaking, and still hasn’t agreed to come out of hiding. The rescue dog also works as a therapy dog for a cancer patient who is now unable to do his job for a long time, he says.

Fortunately, not all the horses in the area did badly. Iltalehti caught up with one local horse farmer, who says that his horses froze in place at the sound of the rockets, but luckily they were spared from worse damage. He feels that the situation is miserable, but he is more worried about the coming New Year.

– No one can then guarantee how much bang the rockets will produce. Continuous Jyske causes the horses the most stress. I hope that people will forget about the banging of rockets and focus more on something else, he reflects.

The other is sorry

The situation took a new turn the same night. Iltalehti learned that Linnonmaa had sent a message in the morning to a person whose horse had been injured by the sounds of rockets.

– Jaajo sent a beautiful long message about how, as a horse person, he felt bad that this had happened, the person tells Iltalehte.

According to the information obtained by Iltalehti, Linnonmaa says in his message that he was an invited guest in a video where rockets and their safe use were presented. He emphasizes that they had their permits in order and the supervisor was present.

According to the presenter, it had not occurred to the film crew to notify the horse and dog owners of the nearby area in advance about the shooting of the rockets.

The person who received the message does not hold a grudge against the duo and greatly appreciates Linnonmaa’s act.

– He took the matter seriously and did the right thing when he contacted us, the horse’s owner states.

Iltalehti unsuccessfully tried to reach Linnonmaa and Parkkal to comment on the matter.
