Turkish flights of Aeroflot, Pobeda and a number of other carriers can be given to airlines that own Superjet 100 aircraft. report Izvestia, citing a letter from the Ministry of Transport dated March 24 to the Turkish aviation authorities with a request to support plans for the redistribution of flights.

The document proposes to transfer permits from the Pobeda low-cost airline to Iraero airlines (four frequencies per week on the Moscow-Istanbul route). The Russian aviation authorities want to give permission for Nordwind, Aeroflot and Utair flights to Red Wings (seven frequencies per week on the Moscow-Istanbul, Moscow-Antalya and Makhachkala-Istanbul routes). Azimuth was proposed to transfer the approvals of Nordwind and Azur Air: 21 frequencies per week on the route Mineralnye Vody – Istanbul and seven frequencies of Minvody – Antalya. Rossiya can get permission to fly from Sochi to Antalya and Istanbul (seven and 21 frequencies per week, respectively), instead of Izhavia and Ural Airlines.

Such a redistribution is necessary to maintain the mobility of Russians and preserve air corridors between Russia and foreign countries during the period of restrictive measures by Western countries, said in a letter from the director of the Department of the Ministry of Transport in the field of civil aviation Svetlana Petrova.

Iraero General Director Yuri Lapin and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azimut Pavel Udod confirmed to Izvestia the existence of the letter.
