Izegem counts down with clock to BK Cycling

The Belgian road cycling championships for elite men and elite women will take place on Sunday 25 June. Today, exactly one month earlier, the City of Izegem starts counting down to the cycling party.

The countdown clock was officially started this morning. The organization also announced that the men will climb the Kemmelberg three times, instead of twice.

“To Giro as leader”

Cyclist Justine Ghekiere from Izegem was also there this morning. She said that she will be heading to the Giro next summer as the leader of her team.
