Kevin Bieksa didn’t mince his words when describing the Panthers’ Nick Cousins.

Former NHL player Kevin Bieksa loaded the full-sided Alexander Barkov skippered by the Florida Panthers forward Nick Cousins in the direction of Saturday evening.
Bieksa described Cousins as a “rat” and reprimanded him for taking various liberties in the rink and putting his opponent’s health and well-being at risk.
– People don’t want to watch and see kneeling, hitting a player’s head on the sidelines or pushing a guy from behind, and that’s a familiar theme (for Cousins).
During his playing career, Bieksa was a tough and tough defender. Now he took it upon himself to put Cousins on a stick.
– I’ve never done this before, but now I have to, because it’s familiar to this player, Bieksa uploaded on the broadcast of Hockey Night in Canada.
Bieksa also challenged Cousins for never answering the accusations against him.
– Someone in that organization or someone he respects needs to sit down and say “enough is enough”, or the NHL needs to react and spank this guy, Bieksa said.
– I think Cousins is a rat.
Bieksa’s opening was so violent that, for example, the website Hockeyfeed describes it as “atypical” to the panelist of the classic program Hockey Night in Canada.
Cousins has made headlines several times this season. In December, the Panthers forward tackled the Columbus Blue Jackets badly Erik Gudbranson from the back and caused this to fall apart.
In last Thursday’s round, the Arizona Coyotes Jason Zucker got nervous for Cousins when he made contact with a Finnish player Juuso Välimäki. Zucker tackled Cousins in the back and was suspended for three games.
Cousins is playing in his second season with the Panthers and this season has achieved 2+3 in 37 games.
