AMSTERDAM – “I think I’ll only get drunk on my own,” sighs 23-year-old Michael Rodenrijs, who tested positive for corona just before New Years. Like tens of thousands of other Dutch people, party animal Michael will ring in the new year in quarantine. Between Wednesday and Thursday morning alone, 14,868 positive results of corona tests have already been registered at the GGD.
