‘It’s good that SBS 6 gets me off the tube’

Richard Groenendijk thinks it is a wise decision by SBS 6 to take him and his show Think Inside The Box off the tube. “I fully support it,” said the 49-year-old comedian.

SBS 6 removes Richard Groenendijk’s Think Inside The Box program from the tube immediately due to low viewing figures. Four Is Too Much by Sander Lantinga is also a must. “Both programs did not achieve the desired results, despite the enormous efforts of the colleagues involved,” Talpa said.

Richard not angry

A wise decision, Richard thinks it is. “SBS 6 has decided that the final three episodes of Think Inside The Box will no longer be broadcast. This seems to me to be a very wise decision, which I fully support. If something doesn’t work, it’s best to stop doing it,” he says on Instagram.

A sporty response from Richard. “I thought: if I’m bombarding you all the time with photos of sold-out theaters and rave reviews, I should also report it when there is such news. It’s a pity, but as my mother always says; it won’t be the last ‘pity’ in life…”

Prize money

Candidates who win a sum of money often have it in their contract that they will only receive the prize money when the episode is broadcast. “That’s bad luck. Was such a fun program. And now we can whistle for our prize money”, says the disappointed candidate Wil.

Richard then: “No, because it will still be placed on KIJK.nl, so that just has to be paid out…”

Sander responds

Sander Lantinga also reacts sportively to the removal of his program. In his case, it’s extra painful, because only two episodes have aired.

The radio maker: “The title Vier Is Te Veel also appears to apply to the number of episodes. I’ll just make it myself .”
