Former boxer Eva Wahlström, 42, is open about her struggles with aging. The athlete shares Instagram– in his publication to over 84.2 thousand followers, what he has noticed about his aging recently.
– It’s exciting, as long as I was boxing, I was somehow ageless. I was 15, 25 and 35 years old, and my thoughts mostly revolved around boxing for many decades, Wahlström reflects in his publication.
Wahlström says that his challenges, joys and dreams were mostly related to the sport, and they could be similar to, for example, a junior boy. In one moment, the athlete realized that the outer shell no longer corresponds to his mental agelessness.
– While looking at this picture, I suddenly stopped at the thought that this is how I look now, now that I’m an adult. That I have such thoughts, and I struggle with such things, Wahlström says.
After his deep reflections, Wahlström ends his writing with an optimistic ending.
– I don’t go on a scale, but my pants tighten, and it’s enough for me to find a heartbeat at all. I am 42 years old, I have a detached house and a big family. I’m an adult, but inside I’m still a child, Wahlström says.
Wahlström lives in a new family, a professional boxer Niklas Räsänen, 42, with. Both have a child from previous relationships: Wahlström has a child born in 2009 Leon and Räsäsen is a couple of years younger Luda. The couple got married in 2016, and they had a child together Elijah-son in March 2021.
