“It’s always harder to act as a dick”

Actress Lari Halme is currently employed with many different projects. He is filming the remake Hay hat and Felt slipper -film, the filming of which Iltalehti recently visited. In addition to filmmaking, Halme is acting in Pyynik’s summer theater this summer.

Halme is remembered, among other things, for the music program of the past years Song fly. It has already been 15 years since the last episode of the program, and Halme says that feedback about the program is very rare.

– However, there are those who say that your character is a complete dick.

– But it’s always harder to act like a dick than something like a hero. Always! The villain is much harder than the first lover, Halme laughs.

The new day series appeared every weekday. During the series, Halme did camera work almost every day for 8 years. Making the daily series was a unique experience for Halme. Since then, he has appeared in various series and done film roles, but his heart belongs to the stage, despite everything.

Halme has been married to a screenwriter-director Marika Vapaavuoren with for 23 years already. In addition to children, the family has two cats and two dogs. The couple’s bump will be cracked this summer.

– It’s somehow a bit amazing where that time has gone. To do work, apparently. I feel like I’ll never have time. I always say that I come after ten, because I always have a show, Halme laughs.

In addition to the role of Tero Kuusla, Halme is remembered for his role performances in the series The bells are ringing, Beat and Koskinen.
