Actor Virginia Patton has died, reports among other things People. 97-year-old Patton died of natural causes on Thursday, August 18.
Patton was especially known for the 1946 film Favorite Life is wonderful (It’s a Wonderful Life). Over the decades, the Christmas movie has become a classic, and Yle, for example, used to show the movie on its channels every Christmas.
Patton played Ruth Dakin Bailey in the film. The main parts were performed James Stewart and Donna Reed.
New York Post states that Patton was the last surviving person from the film’s adult cast.

Virginia Patton was 21 years old when she played the role. Just four films and a few years later, he got married, left his acting career and focused on his family life.
Patton’s and of Cruse Moss the marriage lasted 69 years until the man’s death in 2018. Patton will be missed by two children, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
