Poland became the European champion after beating host Italy 3-0 in the final of the CEV Men’s European Volleyball Championship.
In the final match played in Rome, the capital of Italy, Poland won the first set 25-20 and managed to dominate its opponent 25-21 in the second set.
Poland won the third set 25-23, made it 3-0 and won the European championship.
In the fight for third place, Slovenia defeated France 3-2.
