The lifeless body of 22-year-old Italian student Giulia Cecchettin was found last Saturday in a ravine in Barcis, Pordenone province. The young woman was killed by her ex-boyfriend Filippo Turetta (22). Several protests took place in Italy last weekend. The demonstrators are campaigning, among other things, for better protection of women against violence.
