Criminals are said to have stolen around 800,000 liters of kerosene from a NATO pipeline in June 2019. The kerosene was then sold to unwitting drivers. A NATO spokeswoman confirmed this to the German news agency dpa. The theft is said to have occurred not far from the Belgian-French border.
