Whitsun weekend is the first weekend of meteorological summer. We see that (fortunately!) in the temperatures in June. The weather will stabilize in the run-up to the weekend. From Wednesday the temperature will rise above 20 degrees and it will remain dry and sunny at least until Friday.
Chance of showers during the Pentecost weekend
The weather for the coming weekend looks (partly) good. The temperature throughout the country will probably exceed twenty degrees and there is a lot of room for the sun, but unfortunately there is also a chance of (heavy) showers in the south. It is a bit warmer there, but of course it is of little use with rain. According to the meteorologists, the forecast is somewhat uncertain, so they do not dare to make any firm statements yet.
France outage
This has everything to do with a disturbance over France. In the latest expectation, the heat seems to remain in our country this weekend and it may even become warm in the summer, but it remains to be seen whether the French disturbance will come our way. That could cause showers in the south. The chance of rain is small in the north.
Summer warm during the Pentecost weekend
The chance of warm weather during Pentecost is greatest in the south of the country. There is a 70% chance of temperatures above 20 degrees there this weekend. In the north, that chance is about 40%. The chance that it will be warm in the south this weekend is 25%. In the north they don’t have to count on that with 10%.
