A hat-trick in itself is an amazing feat at that level, but what’s amazing is that the 20-year-old Nigerian scored all the goals within three minutes. The final time of three minutes and 25 seconds is a new record in all UEFA club tournaments.
Gent eventually won the match 4–1 and advanced to the next round with 5–2 on aggregate.
