Market vendors have to deal with the freezing cold resourcefully. In Nicolas’ fruit and vegetable stall, the exotic fruit was covered with a blanket today, but they also had to keep the other vegetables warm.
“We have some tarps here that we hang out and we also have two heat cannons to brave the cold,” says market vendor Nicolas Gezelle.
And the customers also had to bundle up. A hat and gloves are indispensable on a day like today.
