The 32-year-old Rotterdam resident, like thousands of other Dutch people, suffers from a severe form of tinnitus. He felt that there was too little attention for the condition in the media. He wrote about it, got the theme high on the political agenda, and is now trying to raise awareness. The finish line is in sight now that the catering industry is taking a historic step.
