the german international Thomas Müller, Bayern midfielder, said it was “difficult to accept an elimination” like the one suffered this Tuesday by his team in the quarterfinals of the Football Champions League against Villarreal (1-1) that made the 1-0 victory of the ‘yellow submarine’ good in the first leg.
“If we think about the game in Villarreal, we have to accept that we were lucky to lose only 1-0 there; but today’s match was not for a 1-1it is difficult to accept such an elimination,” Müller told the Prime Amazone portal.
“Perhaps we can be reproached that at certain moments we did not have clarity in the area but we played a good game with the public supporting us. We defended well and shortly before the end we had a situation where we weren’t good, it’s bitter,” he added.
